Book Review: “Scrapbook PageMaps” by Becky Fleck
Although I love to scrapbook, I often find myself pressed for time when it comes to completing my family album. To make it easier to design my layouts, I turn to scrapbook sketches for suggestions on photo and journaling placement. That’s why I was so jazzed to get my hands on a copy of “Scrapbook PageMaps” by Becky Fleck. This awesome new idea book features a variety of versatile scrapbook sketches, including those in both 12×12 and 8 1/2 x 11 page sizes. The concept is similar to the Becky Higgins series of scrapbooking sketch idea books, but with a few key differences:
- The spiral binding keeps the book flat on your work surface.
- The book is color coded for easy reference.
- There’s a great card deck in the back that you can assemble to take with you to crops or when you’re shopping for supplies for a specific project.
- Becky Fleck’s sketches have ideas for both single and double layouts.
- Many of Becky Fleck’s sketches provide embellishment ideas for novice scrapbookers.
