Scrapbook necessities
Every scrapbooker has her own list of “scrapbook necessities” – the supplies she simply must have to create a layout!
Here are my picks:
- Glue sticks are my adhesive of choice. I’ve tried about every product on the market, but I keep coming back to these. Cheap and easy to use!
- Die Cuts with a View textured cardstock is totally awesome. I buy my cardstock in large multi-packs from Hobby Lobby, then separate them by color for storage on my paper rack. I have enough stacks now that I can almost always find the color I need.
- Basic Grey patterned paper is my shopping weakness. Even though it’s pretty expensive compared to the other supplies I buy, I can’t get enough of the patterns and colors! It makes me happy just to look at it and I use a bit of Basic Grey on almost every layout I do.
- I used to be into eyelets, but I’m starting to find that I love working with brads. Hammering an eyelet has the advantage of giving you a way to work out your frustrations, but brads offer instant gratification. Poke a hole in your paper, bend the prongs, and you’re done.
